I've been experimenting with my calligraphy pens and thought this was a nice little project to share with you!
Calligraphy is a lovely hobby, and being playful is important for me. I learn something new every day - whether that's how to identify the tracks of a natterjack toad on the beach (true!) or how to write in a lovely modern / copperplate script on a circular piece of card!
This was done with a set of compasses, carefully measured lines and a few experiments in pencil to get the words to fit nicely in the spaces without any clashes of ascending and descending strokes!
