In this book we focus on pointed pens and scripts. Modern calligraphy is all about the pointed pen. I use a straight or oblique pen holder with Nikko G nibs.
The most important advice I can give any novice calligrapher is to enjoy playing with pen and ink. The more fun you have, the more relaxed and confident you’ll be, and the more charming your letters will appear.
